Image publication conditions, terms, & fee schedule

Instructions for ordering images near the bottom of this page. Please read all of this page and understand the terms and conditions. Do not inquire about images unless you intend to commit to order images. You may inquire about types of images not displayed online that are available without commitment.

Permission is granted for one-time, one edition use only. All rights, including right to further reproduction and/or publication are retained by Oklahoma Historic Bridge & Highway Group. Images are to be used as-is, or as derivative work containing at least 50% of the original, unaltered image. All other use is prohibited.

Proper photo credit is mandatory. Images shall be captioned: "Photo by Wes Kinsler courtesy of Oklahoma bridges http://okbridges.wkinsler.com" for bridge images; "Photo by Ken Parker courtesy of Oklahoma Highways http://okhighways.wkinsler.com " for road and highway images; and "Photo by David Erickson courtesy of Oklahoma Dams http://okdams.wkinsler.com " for dam and waterworks images.

At the discretion of the members of Oklahoma Historic Bridge & Highway Group, publishers will furnish, without charge, one copy of the published material or work in which reproduction occurs. This includes films, videos, games, etc; any published work.

Oklahoma Historic Bridge & Highway Group makes no exclusive agreements or rights with any one publisher, author, photographer, illustrator, etc, and makes no guarantees against duplication of images by others nor accepts responsibilities for claims by third parties.

We make no warranty, guarantee, or claim, and assume no liability for the accuracy and/or suitability of images for any particular use or purpose. Use of the images and the information they may or may not convey is at the sole risk of the user and we assume no risk in their use and make no claims about the accuracy of their content.

ANY USE OF BRIDGE AND INFRASTRUCTURE IMAGES TO CAST A NEGATIVE TONE OR OTHERWISE DEFAME, CRITICIZE, OR RIDICULE OKLAHOMA, IT'S PEOPLE, AND BRIDGE AND TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE WILL BE CONSIDERED A VIOLATION OF THE LICENSE AGREEMENT AND NO USAGE RIGHTS WILL BE GRANTED!

All fees are for electronic delivery of images. If you need an image delivered to you in a non-electronic format, such as a negative or print, an additional fee will apply. Please inquire for more information.

Example: You are publishing a book and use 2 images and are printing 5,000 copies, you would pay $60.00.

Political campaigns: 10% off total fees for Oklahoma candidates; all others 3% off total fees.

When you have decided how many images you are going to use and in what type of publication, email us at webmaster@wkinsler.com for the image use form. You will need to include in your email the following information so we can have the form filled in when we email it to you:
1. Your name or the name of your company and address.

2. Author's name of the work you intend to produce or publish, etc.

3. Title of the work.

4. The date you intend to publish or release this work

5. Type of work.

6. Number of copies to be published or distributed for the edition or release in question.

7. Description, name, etc. of the image(s) of ours you intend on using.

8. Your 501(c)(3) or registered candidate information if you are eligible for a discount.

Do not send this email unless you are going to commit to order images.

We will reply with an agreement form for you to review and sign. Please inform us of any errors before printing and signing. Print the form off and fill in and sign as directed on the form. Mail the completed form to the address given near the top of this page with payment for images. Be sure to make the payment to the correct person and not to Oklahoma Historic Bridge & Highway Group. You may take delivery of your images by typing in the image URL given in the agreement form in your browser and saving the image. You will be notified if a higher resolution image exists than the one published on our website. If a higher resolution image exists, its URL will be on the agreement form for you to to use.

Thank you for your interest in the use of our images. Fees for image use are used to keep the Bridge, Highway, and Dam pages online and new structures photographed. For us at Oklahoma Historic Bridge & Highways Group, this is a hobby, and your image use fees help to keep it going.
